The concept of *Neshat* (vitality/joy) has inner, behavioral, and social dimensions and is associated with concepts such as satisfaction, hope, smiling, and mental and social well-being. From a Quranic perspective, *Neshat* is an inner state of happiness, heartfelt assurance, and spiritual contentment that arises from a connection with God, faith, gratitude for blessings, righteous deeds, and hope in divine reward. This study aimed to explain the concept of *Neshat* based on a content analysis of related themes in the verses of the Holy Quran. The research method employed was content analysis. Data collection tools were listed, and Quranic software was used to extract relevant verses. The analysis revealed that the causes or contexts of *Neshat* are significant and can have both positive and negative aspects. Broadly, *Neshat* can be categorized into two types: *praiseworthy* (*mamdūḥ*) and *blameworthy* (*madhmūm*). Praiseworthy *Neshat* (commended in the Quran) includes *faith-based and divine joy*, linked to monotheistic values, spirituality, gratitude, and piety, ultimately leading to divine satisfaction and eternal bliss in the hereafter. Blameworthy *Neshat* (condemned in the Quran) includes *non-faith-based joy*, associated with worldly wealth, material pursuits, and illicit pleasures, ultimately leading to downfall and divine punishment in the hereafter.
