One of the issues that make the discussion of "non-distortion of the Qur'an" hazy and perhaps imprecise is dealing with the issue of distortion or non-distortion of the Qur'an without specifying the time frame of the "distortion of the Qur'an" debate. On the other hand, our access to the Qur'an has gone through different periods of time, the nature and type of investigation of which can have different results on the issue of distortion. This difference is such that responding to the non-distortion of the Qur'an requires different reasons and documents from both sides of the conflict; This means that if we consider the issue of distortion of the Quran as a whole, some of the reasons for saying that the Quran is not distorted are partial and cannot be the answer to that general claim. Therefore, it is very necessary to divide and introduce the time periods to access the Holy Quran from the beginning of Islam until now. That is, it is necessary to investigate and research, what periods of time can be proposed for a detailed examination of the examples of "exclusionary verbal deviation of the Qur'an"? And what are the coordinates and characteristics of these time periods? In the upcoming research, five periods of time will be proposed and introduced in order to clarify their relationship and position with the problem of verbal distortion of the Qur'an.
