Abstract
One of the miracles that has been emphasized several times in the Quran is the miracle of Prophet Salih (peace be upon him) in bringing the camel out of the mountain. The main issue of this research is to answer this main question: Does the Holy Quran address the issue of the influence of geography in determining the type of divine miracle (the camel)? The method of this research is a qualitative approach of grounded theory. Using the data available in the verses and reports mentioned in the works of geographers from this region, three central categories can be reached from at least thirty data obtained, which indicate that the geographical characteristics of the Hajar region are related to the miracle of the camel because Hajar is a mountainous region and the people of this region had high skills in stone carving, in addition to the fact that the camel was of great importance among the people of this region. The central phenomenon, by providing the necessary context, creates good consequences for understanding the selection of the type of camel miracle in accordance with human geographical factors, and of course, it causes the revelation of the deep connection between the miracles of the prophets and the environmental conditions of the day and proves the transcendence of time of the Holy Quran.
