Today, recognizing and introducing the ideal Islamic city is one of the most important challenges for researchers and managers of urban issues. Due to the all-round invasion of western culture and imitation of western modernity patterns, drawing the coordinates and foundations of Tayyeb city with a cultural approach based on the verses of the Quran is a conscious strategy to solve urban problems. Therefore, the current research is trying to evaluate the cultural situation of Maragheh city with the cultural components of Tayyab city from the perspective of the Qur'an in the form of 12 main indicators and 36 items using SPSS software. This research is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of its nature and working method. Two documentary and survey methods have been used to collect the required information. The results of the research show the cultural status of the city of Maragheh in the cultural components of the manifestation of monotheism in the city, the prosperity of worship in the city, sincerity and avoidance of appearance and sanctity, the establishment of justice, the expansion of remembrance and reminder in the city, observance of public chastity and identity and lack of selfishness. It has a significant difference with the cultural components of the city of Tayyab from the perspective of the Quran, so that the city of Maragheh is far from the standards of the city of Tayyab from the perspective of the Holy Quran in terms of the mentioned cultural components. However, in the cultural components of the expansion of piety and spirituality in the city, the city of those who trust, providing security and peace, the need for unity in the city and the ethical city, there is no significant difference with the criteria of the city of Islamic Tayyab, and in these five components, the cultural situation of the city of Maragheh is compared It is at an acceptable level by the standards of the Islamic city of Tayyab.
