Analyzing and investigating the appropriateness of fighting verses in Surah Towba Relying on the means and atmosphere of revelation of related verses and surahs

Abstract
In 17 surahs of the Qur'an, "fight" is mentioned and this word is used in different forms 158 times in more than 130 verses. In more than 20 verses, God directly commands to kill humans; In addition, the word Jihad appears 32 times in the Qur'an and 400 verses related to Jihad have been revealed. The most important question of this research is the type of attitude towards the topic of fighting and jihad in Surah Toba. It seems that by analyzing the extratextual propositions (historical propositions, narrations of the causes of descent and order of descent) and intratextual propositions (context and space of descent) and matching them with the general situation, especially audience analysis, popular attributes, events and special conditions that occur during the descent of a surah, it can help to understand the Holy Qur'an deeply and firmly. The purpose of this article, which was carried out with a case study and in a library and analytical way; Recognizing and analyzing interpretive aspects; Both the dignity and the reasons for the revelation, the general meaning of the verse, the interpretation points, the topic of fighting and the appropriateness of the verses of Surah Towba are centered on fighting and jihad. According to the analyzes made, it can be acknowledged that according to the approach of "fighting and jihad" in Surah Towba, the verses take on a more intense tone.
